Tia Rowland Bio
Tia Rowland was born in Chicago and spent her teenage years just outside of Minnesota’s Twin Cities. Since then, Tia has lived in Southern California.
After attending Los Angeles County School of Nursing and graduating with honors, Tia managed a ward specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Trauma at L.A. County/USC Medical Center. During this time, she also worked as the Technical Advisor for the first 13 episodes of the popular NBC-TV show ‘St. Elsewhere’.
The next four years found Tia in Downtown Los Angeles at Hospital of the Good Samaritan, where she was responsible for all pre-operative and post-operative patient and family teaching on the Cardiothoracic Surgical patient. From there, Tia worked for Hewlett-Packard as a Clinical Specialist, traveling the U.S. and training healthcare professionals on the clinical applications of monitors designed for critically ill patients. Tia attends to the needs of her real estate clients the same way that she cared for her patients…with confidence, commitment and respect.
Jerry shares Tia’s roots in the Midwest having been raised and educated in Michigan. After graduating from Albion College Pre-Med on a music scholarship, he went on to attend Medical School. Jerry found his calling when asked to join Hewlett-Packard Medical Division where he met Tia. After years in patient monitoring marketing, ROI studies and hospital utilization process consulting with companies like GE & Philips, he joined Tia and they formed Rowland Partners.
